of Newfoundland.

At 10:00 a.m. ADT Sunday trough located over the St. Lawrence River.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Sunday trough located over the Gulf of
St. Lawrence.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:49 PM ADT 23 March 2019 A low pressure system over the Gulf of St. Lawrence will move
northeastward to lie northeast of Newfoundland by Sunday morning.
Strong to gale force westerlies over most waters in its wake will
slowly diminish as it moves off. Late on Sunday, a trough will track
southward across the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Gale force northwesterlies
and colder temperatures are expected over northern waters in its
wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Lurcher, Browns Bank, Georges Bank, southwestern shore, LaHave Bank,
West Scotian Slope, Sable, East Scotian Slope, Banquereau, Laurentian
Fan, and Anticosti. A freezing spray warning is in effect for
Anticosti.
