Georges Bank.

At 3:00 a.m. ADT today quasi-stationary ridge located over the
northern Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:41 AM ADT 20 September 2024 A low pressure system southwest of the marine district will remain
nearly stationary today and Saturday. Strong to gale force
northeasterly winds will persist both days with this feature.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Browns Bank, Georges Bank - northern half, LaHave Bank - western
half, West Scotian Slope - northern half and East Scotian Slope -
western half.
