Issued 3:30 PM AST 2 December 2020 Tonight and Thursday At 3:30 p.m. AST today low 1000 mb located over western Quebec.
By 10:00 a.m. AST Thursday low 994 mb located over northern Quebec.

At 3:30 p.m. AST today cold front located on a line north-south
over the central Marine District.
By 10:00 a.m. AST Thursday departing cold front located east of
the Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:20 PM AST 2 December 2020 A low pressure system over Western Quebec will continue to track
slowly northward this evening and push a cold front slowly eastward
across the marine district. Strong to gale force southerly winds
ahead of the front will diminish in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Banquereau - eastern half and Laurentian Fan - eastern half.

Outlook for the start of the southwest lobster fishery.
