At 3:00 a.m. AST Sunday ridge located on a line north-south over
western Quebec.
By 8:00 p.m. AST Sunday ridge located over New England.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:38 PM AST 20 January 2018 A low pressure system east of Anticosti Island will continue to move
eastward and away from the marine district tonight. Strong to gale
force southwesterlies will shift to strong to gale force
northwesterlies over most of northern and eastern waters behind the
low.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
West Scotian Slope, eastern shore, Sable, East Scotian Slope,
Fourchu, Banquereau, Laurentian Fan, Cabot Strait, Gulf-Magdalen and
Anticosti.

Freezing spray warnings are in effect for Banquereau-northern half,
Cabot Strait, Northumberland Strait-eastern half, Gulf-Magdalen and
Anticosti.
