of Newfoundland.

At 8:00 p.m. AST tonight trough located over Maine.
By 3:30 p.m. AST Monday trough located near Banquereau.

At 8:00 p.m. AST tonight ridge located over Nova Scotia.
By 3:00 a.m. AST Monday ridge located south of the Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:52 PM AST 9 December 2018 An intensifying low pressure system northeast of Newfoundland will
continue to move away this evening. Northwesterly gales over eastern
waters will diminish tonight as a ridge of high pressure builds in
south of the Maritimes. Freezing spray conditions over northern
waters will gradually diminish tonight.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Fourchu, Banquereau, Laurentian Fan, Cabot Strait, and Gulf Magdalen
- northeastern half.

In addition, freezing spray warnings are in effect for eastern shore,
Sable, Fourchu, Cabot Strait and all Gulf of St. Lawrence waters.
