of Newfoundland.

At 10:00 a.m. ADT today trough located over the St. Lawrence River.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight trough located on a line east-west over
Nova Scotia.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:42 AM ADT 24 March 2019 A low pressure system northeast of Newfoundland will continue to move
away from the district this morning. Strong to gale force westerlies
over most waters in its wake will slowly diminish as it moves off.
Later today, a trough will track southward across the Gulf of St.
Lawrence. Gale force northwesterlies and colder temperatures are
expected over northern waters in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Georges Bank, West Scotian Slope, East Scotian Slope, Banquereau,
Laurentian Fan, and Anticosti.

Freezing spray warnings are in effect for Gulf-Magdalen - northern
half and Anticosti.
