Marine Weather Statement
Issued 7:27 PM AST 8 November 2025 A low pressure system near Anticosti will continue to track eastwardpushing a trough across the marine district tonight. Strong to gale
force south to southwest winds ahead of the trough will shift to
strong northwesterlies in its wake.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
East Scotian Slope and Laurentian Fan.
Outlook for the start-up of the Southwest New Brunswick lobster
fishery.
