Issued 10:00 AM AST 4 December 2020 Today Tonight and Saturday At 10:00 a.m. AST today ridge located over the southeastern Marine
District.
By 3:00 a.m. AST Saturday departing ridge located southeast of
the Marine District.

At 3:00 a.m. AST Saturday approaching low 1002 mb located north
of Cape Hatteras.

At 10:00 a.m. AST today trough located over Ontario.
By 8:00 p.m. AST tonight dissipating trough located near the
St. Lawrence River.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:32 AM AST 4 December 2020 A low pressure system will approach from the southwest on Saturday
and track slowly across the Bay of Fundy on Sunday. Strong to gale
force easterlies developing ahead of the low on Saturday will shift
to gale force southerlies over southernmost waters by late Saturday
evening.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Lurcher, Browns Bank, Georges Bank, southwestern shore, LaHave Bank,
and West Scotian Slope.

Outlook for the start of the southwest lobster fishery.
