Marine District.

At 8:00 p.m. AST tonight low 992 mb located east of the Great Lakes.
By 3:30 p.m. AST Wednesday low 992 mb located over southern Quebec.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:59 PM AST 30 November 2020 A low pressure system east of the Great Lakes will continue to track
slowly northward tonight and Tuesday. Strong to gale force southeast
winds over western waters will slowly spread eastward overnight into
Tuesday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Fundy, Grand Manan, Lurcher, Browns Bank, Georges Bank, West Scotian
Slope, East Scotian Slope - western half, Cabot Strait,
Northumberland Strait, Gulf-Magdalen, Chaleur Miscou - eastern half,
and Anticosti.

Outlook for the start of the southwest lobster fishery.

Tonight...Winds southeast 25 knots becoming 35 knots tonight.
Seas building to 2 to 3 metres this evening.

Tuesday...Winds southeast 35 knots increasing to 40 to 45 knots in
the afternoon then decreasing to southwest 15 to 20 knots near
midnight. Seas 4 to 6 metres.

Wednesday...Winds westerly 10 to 15 knots increasing to southwest 15
to 20 in the afternoon and to 20 to 25 in the evening. Seas 3 to 5
metres subsiding to near 3 metres in the afternoon and 2 to 3 metres
in the evening.

Thursday..Winds southwest 25 knots diminishing to west 15 to 20 in
the evening. Seas near 2 metres.
