Labrador.

At 3:30 p.m. AST today ridge located west of the Marine District.
By 10:00 a.m. AST Monday ridge located over the Maritimes.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:49 AM AST 17 December 2017 An intense low pressure system moving northeastward over the Labrador
Sea is keeping strong to gale force northwesterlies over most of the
district today. These winds will diminish this evening and overnight
into Monday as a ridge begins to move into the district from the
west.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Georges Bank, West Scotian Slope, eastern shore, Sable, East Scotian
Slope, Fourchu, Banquereau, Laurentian Fan and all Gulf of St.
Lawrence waters.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Cabot Strait and all Gulf of St. Lawrence waters.
