Issued 3:00 AM ADT 25 August 2019 Today Tonight and Monday At 3:00 a.m. ADT today quasi-stationary ridge located on a line
east-west over the Maritimes.

At 3:00 a.m. ADT today low 1014 mb located south of West Scotian
Slope.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Monday low 1005 mb located over East Scotian Slope.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:59 AM ADT 25 August 2019 A low pressure system south of the slope waters will remain nearly
stationary today, then begin to move slowly northward tonight to lie
over East Scotian Slope by Monday evening. Moderate to strong
northeasterlies will persist over southern waters today, then
intensify to strong to gale force easterlies on Monday as the low
approaches. There is some uncertainty in the track and intensity of
this system, and it is possible that gales will reach further to the
north and west by Monday evening than currently forecast.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Sable, East Scotian Slope, and Laurentian Fan.
