of Newfoundland.

At 8:00 p.m. AST tonight trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over Quebec.
By 10:00 a.m. AST Friday trough located north of Anticosti Island.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:47 PM AST 23 November 2017 A low pressure system now northeast of Newfoundland will continue to
move away from the region tonight. Strong to gale force
northwesterlies in the wake of the low will continue to diminish as
it moves away. Winds will strengthen again briefly to strong to gale
force westerlies over Gulf waters on Friday as a weak trough passes
just north of the district.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Cabot Strait, Gulf-Magdalen - eastern half, and Anticosti.

Sunday..Winds southwesterly 15 to knots increasing to northwesterly
25 to 30 knots by the afternoon.

Monday..Winds westerly 25 knots.
