Issued 3:30 PM ADT 16 October 2018 Tonight and Wednesday At 3:30 p.m. ADT today low 970 mb located over southeastern
Labrador.
By 3:00 a.m. ADT Wednesday departing low 964 mb located northeast
of Newfoundland.

At 10:00 a.m. ADT Wednesday trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over the Gaspe Peninsula.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Wednesday trough located on a line
northwest-southeast over Nova Scotia.

At 3:00 a.m. ADT Wednesday ridge located over New Brunswick.
By 3:30 p.m. ADT Wednesday departing ridge located over the eastern
Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:25 PM ADT 16 October 2018 An intense low pressure system over Southeastern Labrador will
continue to track northeastward to lie southeast of the Labrador Sea
by overnight tonight. Gale to storm force westerly winds will
gradually diminish tonight in the wake of this system.

On Wednesday, a trough will move over the marine district from the
west. This will give strong to gale force westerlies to southern
waters.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Cabot Strait, Gulf - Magdalen, and Anticosti - southern half.
Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining waters except Grand
Manan, Lurcher and Browns Bank.
