Issued 8:00 PM ADT 7 May 2021 Tonight and Saturday At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight weakening ridge located over the central
Marine District.

At 3:00 a.m. ADT Saturday deepening low 1004 mb located southwest
of Georges Bank.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Saturday low 984 mb located south of Nova Scotia.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:53 PM ADT 7 May 2021 A low pressure system will deepen tonight as it approaches Georges
Bank. The low will then move to lie south of Nova Scotia Saturday
evening. Strong to gale force northeasterly winds ahead of the low
shift to strong to gale force westerlies in its wake. There is the
potential for a period of storm force winds over slope waters in the
wake of the low on Saturday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Browns Bank, Georges Bank, southwestern shore, LaHave Bank, West
Scotian Slope, eastern shore, Sable, East Scotian Slope, Fourchu,
Banquereau, Laurentian Fan, Cabot Strait, Northumberland Strait and
Gulf-Magdalen.
