District.

At 10:00 a.m. AST Wednesday ridge located over New England.
By 8:00 p.m. AST Wednesday ridge located over the western Marine
District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:41 AM AST 28 November 2023 A trough of low pressure extending from Anticosti Island to East
Scotian Slope will move to lie east of the district by this
afternoon. Gale to storm force southeasterlies ahead of
The trough will diminish to moderate to strong westerlies in its
wake.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
eastern shore - eastern half, Sable - eastern half, East Scotian
Slope - eastern half, Fourchu, Banquereau, Laurentian Fan, Cabot
Strait, Gulf-Magdalen - northeastern half and Anticosti - eastern
half.

Outlook for the start of the Southwest Nova lobster fishery.
