Scotian Slope.
By 3:00 a.m. ADT Saturday departing trough located from Labrador
Sea to the Grand Banks.

At 8:00 p.m. ADT Saturday approaching trough located over New
England.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:11 AM ADT 8 May 2026 A trough of low pressure stretching from Labrador through East
Scotian Slope is forecast to continue slowly tracking eastward today.
Strong to gale force southerly winds ahead of the trough will
diminish in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Laurentian Fan.
