north-south over eastern Banquereau.

At 8:00 p.m. AST tonight ridge located west of the Marine District.
By 8:00 p.m. AST Sunday ridge located on a line north-south over
Banquereau.

At 8:00 p.m. AST Sunday approaching trough located west of the
Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:56 PM AST 24 February 2018 A trough of low pressure over eastern waters will move away this
afternoon. Strong to gale force northwesterlies are occurring in its
wake. A second trough will approach from New England late on Sunday.
This will give strong to gale force southeasterlies over southwestern
waters Sunday evening.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Lurcher, Browns Bank, Georges Bank, West Scotian Slope, Banquereau,
Laurentian Fan, and Cabot Strait.

Marine interests are advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for eastern shore, Fourchu, Banquereau, Cabot Strait and all
Gulf of St. Lawrence waters.
