Marine Weather Statement
Issued 2:28 AM AST 17 February 2026 A low south of West Scotian Slope will deepen as it tracks just southof the slope waters today and tonight. Gale to storm force easterlies
north of the low will become strong to gale force northerlies in its
wake.
Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
East Scotian Slope - southern half, Banquereau - southeastern half,
and Laurentian Fan. Gale warnings are in effect for Georges Bank,
West Scotian Slope, Sable, East Scotian Slope - northern half, and
Banquereau - northwestern half.
