north-south over the western Marine District.

Issued 7:40 PM ADT 30 April 2025 A low pressure system east of Anticosti Island will track easttonight to lie over Eastern Newfoundland by Thursday afternoon.
Strong southwesterlies ahead of the low shift to strong to storm
force northwesterlies behind it. Winds will gradually diminish on
Thursday as high pressure builds in.
Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
Gulf-Magdalen - northeastern half. Gale warnings are in effect for
Banquereau, Laurentian Fan - northeastern half, Cabot Strait,
Gulf-Magdalen - southwestern half, Chaleur-Miscou, and Anticosti.
