Issued 8:00 PM ADT 19 September 2024 Tonight and Friday At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight quasi-stationary low located southwest
of Georges Bank.

At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight departing trough located over the eastern
Marine District.

At 3:00 a.m. ADT Friday quasi-stationary ridge located over the
northern Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:55 PM ADT 19 September 2024 A low pressure system southwest of the marine district will remain
nearly stationary tonight and Friday. Strong to gale force
northeasterly winds will develop over parts of the southwestern
marine district north of the low tonight.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Browns Bank, Georges Bank - northern half, LaHave Bank - western
half, West Scotian Slope - northern half and East Scotian Slope -
western half.
