Issued 10:00 AM AST 30 November 2020 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 10:00 a.m. AST today ridge located over the eastern Marine
District.
By 8:00 p.m. AST tonight departing ridge located over the Grand
Banks.

At 10:00 a.m. AST today low 997 mb located over the eastern
United States.
By 8:00 p.m. AST Tuesday quasi-stationary low 992 mb located over
southern Quebec.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:38 AM AST 30 November 2020 A low pressure system is forecast to track up the Eastern United
States today and stall over Southern Quebec on Tuesday. Strong to
gale force southeast winds will develop over western waters this
evening and then slowly spread eastward overnight into Tuesday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Grand Manan, Lurcher, Browns Bank, Georges Bank, West Scotian Slope,
East Scotian Slope - western half, Gulf-Magdalen, Chaleur Miscou -
eastern half, and Anticosti.

Outlook for the start of the southwest lobster fishery.

Today...Winds southeast 15 to 20 knots increasing to 25 this
afternoon and 35 this evening. Seas 0.5 to 1 metre increasing to 1 to
2 metres this afternoon and to 2 to 3 metres this evening.

Tuesday...Winds southeast 35 knots increasing to 40 to 45 knots in
the afternoon then decreasing to southwest 15 to 20 knots near
midnight. Seas 4 to 6 metres.

Wednesday...Winds westerly 10 to 15 knots increasing to southwest 15
near noon and to 20 to 25 in the evening. Seas 3 to 5 metres
subsiding to near 3 metres in the afternoon and 2 to 3 metres in the
evening.
