Issued 3:30 PM AST 12 November 2019 Tonight and Wednesday At 3:30 p.m. AST today warm front from 1000 mb low located over
the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
By 3:00 a.m. AST Wednesday warm front from 994 mb low located over
the Quebec Lower North Shore.

At 3:30 p.m. AST today cold front from 1000 mb low located over
the Gulf of Maine.
By 3:00 a.m. AST Wednesday cold front from 994 mb low located from
Anticosti Island to West Scotian Slope.

By 3:30 p.m. AST Wednesday cold front located on a line north-south
over Laurentian Fan.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:22 PM AST 12 November 2019 A low pressure system currently lying over Southern New Brunswick
will track across the Gulf of St. Lawrence by early Wednesday
morning. A warm front extending from the low through the Gulf of St.
Lawrence will give strong to gale force southwesterlies south of the
front and strong to gale force northeasterlies to its north.
On Wednesday, most regions will see strong to gale force
northwesterlies in the wake of the low, especially over the Gulf of
St. Lawrence.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Georges Bank, West Scotian Slope, eastern shore, Fourchu, Banquereau
- northern half, Laurentian Fan, Cabot Strait, Northumberland Strait,
Gulf - Magdalen, Chaleur - Miscou, and Anticosti.

Outlook for the start-up of the Southwest New Brunswick lobster
fishery.

Lfa36 tonight..Winds southwest 25 near shifting to northwest 25 later
this evening. Seas 2 metres.

Wednesday..Winds northwest 25 to 30 knots. Seas 1 to 2 metres.

Thursday..Winds northwest 15 becoming light early in the morning then
increasing to southwest 15 in the evening. Seas less than 1 metre.

Friday..Winds southwest 20 to 25 knots increasing to southwest 30
early in the morning. Seas 1 metre increasing to 2 in the morning and
2 to 3 in the afternoon. Choppy seas in the afternoon.

Lfa38 tonight..Winds southwest 25 shifting to northwest 25 this
evening. Seas 1 to 2 metres.

Wednesday..Winds northwest 25 to 30 knots. Seas 2 metres.

Thursday..Winds northwest 15 becoming light early in the morning then
increasing to southwest 15 to 20 in the afternoon and southwest 25
late in the day. Seas less than 1 metre building to 1 to 2 metres.

Friday..Winds southwest 25 knots increasing to southwest 30 in the
morning. Seas 1 to 2 metres increasing to 2 to 3 near noon. Choppy
seas in the afternoon.
