At 3:00 a.m. ADT today quasi-stationary ridge located over the
western Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:32 AM ADT 2 May 2024 Northeasterly winds between a stationary low pressure system
southeast of the Grand Banks and a ridge of high pressure pushing
down from the north will increase to strong to gale force across
northern waters tonight.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Anticosti - eastern half.
