At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight ridge located on a line north-south over
New England.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Friday departing ridge located southeast of the
Marine District.

At 8:00 p.m. ADT Friday approaching low 996 mb located over Maine.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:44 PM ADT 15 October 2026 A low pressure system northeast of Newfoundland will continue to
slowly track northeastward. Strong to gale force northwesterlies in
its wake will gradually diminish overnight tonight.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
eastern shore - eastern half, Sable - eastern half, East Scotian
Slope - eastern half, Fourchu, Banquereau, Laurentian Fan, Cabot
Strait, Northumberland Strait - eastern half, Gulf - Magdalen, and
Anticosti.
