Issued 10:00 AM ADT 5 July 2020 Today Tonight and Monday At 10:00 a.m. ADT today departing low 1009 mb located over the
southwestern Grand Banks.

At 10:00 a.m. ADT today quasi-stationary trough located over
New Brunswick.

At 3:00 a.m. ADT Monday tropical depression FIVE 1011 mb located
southwest of Laurentian Fan.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Monday departing tropical depression FIVE 1009
mb located southeast of the Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:50 AM ADT 5 July 2020 At 6 AM ADT tropical depression five was located near latitude 33.4
north and longitude 64.9 west, about 70 nautical miles or 110
kilometres north of Bermuda. Maximum sustained winds were 30 knots
and the central pressure was 1008 MB. The motion was northeast at 17
knots. This system may strengthen to a marginal tropical storm but
is still expected to have minimal impact on Canadian waters as it
passes south of the marine district on Monday. Extreme southern
areas of Laurentian Fan may see winds up to 25 or 30 knots on Monday
as it passes.
