Issued 10:00 AM AST 15 December 2025 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 10:00 a.m. AST today intensifying low 972 mb located over
northern Banquereau.
By 3:00 a.m. AST Tuesday low 942 mb located northeast of
Newfoundland.

At 3:00 a.m. AST Tuesday ridge located over southern Quebec.
By 3:30 p.m. AST Tuesday ridge located over the western Marine
District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:08 AM AST 15 December 2025 An intensifying low pressure system over Banquereau will track
northeastward to lie east of Newfoundland by this evening. Winds will
shift to gale to storm force northwesterlies behind the low across
the marine district.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Banquereau, Laurentian Fan and Cabot Strait. Gale warnings are in
effect for all remaining waters except Fundy and Grand Manan.

Freezing spray warnings are in effect for Fundy, Grand Manan,
Northumberland Strait, Gulf - Magdalen, Chaleur - Miscou, and
Anticosti.
