Marine Weather StatementIssued 2:49 AM AST 18 December 2017 Strong northwesterly winds will continue to weaken today as a ridge
moves in from the west. A trough of low pressure extending from
Quebec will swing though the marine district on Tuesday. Strong to
gale force westerlies are expected in its wake beginning Tuesday
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Fundy, Grand Manan, Lurcher, Browns Bank and Georges Bank.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Fourchu, Cabot Strait and all Gulf of St. Lawrence waters.
