Issued 3:30 PM AST 19 February 2020 Tonight and Thursday At 3:30 p.m. AST today trough located from Newfoundland to
Laurentian Fan.
By 8:00 p.m. AST tonight departing trough located east of the
Marine District.

At 10:00 a.m. AST Thursday building ridge located west of the
Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:31 PM AST 19 February 2020 A trough of low pressure stretching from Newfoundland to Laurentian
Fan will move to lie east of the district this evening. Gale force
southwesterlies ahead of the trough will shift to strong to gale
force northwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Lurcher, Browns Bank, southwestern shore, LaHave Bank, West Scotian
Slope, Banquereau, Laurentian Fan, Cabot Strait-northern half,
Gulf-Magdalen, Chaleur-Miscou and Anticosti.

Freezing spray warnings are in effect for Fundy, Grand Manan,
Lurcher, southwestern shore, LaHave Bank, eastern shore, Sable,
Fourchu, Banquereau, Cabot Strait, Gulf-Magdalen - northeastern half
and Anticosti.
