Wind easterly 15 to 20 knots increasing to easterly 25 to 35 near midnight except variable 15 to 20 over southern sections. Wind diminishing to northwest 15 to 20 early Friday morning except east 25 over northern sections. Wind becoming northwest 20 to 30 Friday afternoon.

Showers and fog patches changing to flurries near midnight and ending near noon Friday. Visibility 1 mile or less in fog patches and in flurries.

Issued 8:00 PM ADT 22 April 2021 Tonight and Friday At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight low 978 mb located over the Gaspe
Peninsula.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Friday low 988 mb located northeast of Anticosti
Island.

At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight trough located from the Gaspe Peninsula
to Newfoundland.
By 3:00 a.m. ADT Friday trough located over southern Labrador.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 8:01 PM ADT 22 April 2021 A weakening low pressure system over the Gaspé Peninsula will slowly
move to lie northeast of Anticosti Island Friday evening. A trough
extending southeast of the low will move across Newfoundland tonight.
Strong to gale force southeasterlies ahead of the trough shift to
strong to gale force southwesterlies behind it.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters.
