Marine Weather StatementIssued 9:29 AM ADT 31 March 2023 A trough of low pressure over the eastern marine district will move
to lie over the Southern Grand Banks this evening. Strong
southeasterlies ahead of the trough become strong to gale force
northwesterlies in its wake. These gales will begin to diminish this
afternoon or evening as a ridge of high pressure approaches from the

increase to strong southeasterlies ahead of the front and become gale
to possible storm force southwesterlies south of it.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
