Issued 10:00 AM AST 24 February 2018 Today Tonight and Sunday At 10:00 a.m. AST today trough located from Anticosti Island to
East Scotian Slope.
By 3:30 p.m. AST today departing trough located east of the Marine
District.

At 8:00 p.m. AST tonight ridge located west of the Marine District.
By 8:00 p.m. AST Sunday ridge located on a line north-south over
Banquereau.

At 8:00 p.m. AST Sunday approaching trough located west of the
Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:44 AM AST 24 February 2018 A trough of low pressure will move across the district today. Strong
southerly winds ahead of the trough will veer to strong to gale force
northwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
East Scotian Slope, Banquereau, Laurentian Fan, and Cabot Strait.

Marine interests are advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for eastern shore, Fourchu, Banquereau, Cabot Strait and all
Gulf of St. Lawrence waters.
