at 44.9N 62.4W.
By 3:00 a.m. ADT Thursday Post-tropical Storm Teddy 978 mb located
at 51.9N 56.4W.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:52 AM ADT 23 September 2020 Post tropical storm Teddy is currently over the eastern shore and
will continue to move across the marine district through the day
today. Gale to storm force winds are expected with this storm and
will push north and east through the morning and early afternoon as
the storm moves across the region.

Higher than normal water levels will bring large waves and rough,
pounding surf along parts of the Atlantic Coast of Nova Scotia
through the morning and early afternoon.

At 10:00 A.M. ADT, post tropical storm Teddy is located near
Latitude 44.9 north and longitude 62.4 west, about 49 nautical miles
east-northeast of Halifax. Maximum sustained winds are estimated at
60 knots and central pressure at 960 MB. Teddy is moving
north-northeast at 20 knots.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
eastern shore, Sable, East Scotian Slope, Fourchu, Banquereau,
Laurentian Fan - northern half, and Cabot Strait - southern half.
Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining waters except
Chaleur-Miscou - western half.

Marine interests are also advised that high water level warnings are
in effect for eastern shore and Fourchu. There is also a possibility
of higher than normal water levels along some Gulf of St. Lawrence
regions tonight and Wednesday.
