District.
By 3:00 a.m. AST Saturday departing ridge located southeast of
the Marine District.

At 3:00 a.m. AST Saturday approaching low 1002 mb located north
of Cape Hatteras.

At 3:00 a.m. AST today trough located over Ontario.
By 8:00 p.m. AST tonight dissipating trough located near the
St. Lawrence River.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:47 AM AST 4 December 2020 A low pressure system will approach from the southwest on Saturday
and track slowly across the Bay of Fundy on Sunday. Strong to gale
force south to southeasterlies to the south of the low and strong
northeasterlies to its north will develop late on Saturday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Lurcher, Browns Bank, Georges Bank, southwestern shore, LaHave Bank,
and West Scotian Slope.

Outlook for the start of the southwest lobster fishery.

and to 25 knots late this afternoon. Seas 2 to 3 metres.

Tonight..Southwest 25 to 30 knots diminishing to southwest 15
overnight. Seas 2 to 3 metres diminishing to 1 to 2 metres before
morning.

Saturday..Winds southwest 15 knots diminishing to light early in the
morning. Winds increasing to southeast 25 in the afternoon and to
southeast 35 in the evening. Seas 1 to 2 metres building to 3 to 5
metres in the evening.
