Issued 08:24 AM EDT 01 April 2023 Conditions are favourable for the development of squalls with wind gusts up to 40 knots.Showers and possible thunderstorms are expected to affect Lake St. Clair and Lake Erie later this morning and afternoon. Squalls to 40 knots will be possible.
The threat should diminish after 3 P.M. EDT. as the activity moves east of the area.
Mariners are advised to prepare for potential squalls. Vulnerable vessels are most at risk and should seek safe harbour if underway.
