Issued 9:29 PM EDT 25 September 2018 Thunderstorms are expected to affect portions of Lake Huron, Lake St. Clair and Lake Erie this evening and possibly into the overnight hours. Some of these thunderstorms will have the potential to produce wind gusts to 50 knots and torrential rainfall resulting in sudden near zero visibility.

Mariners are advised to prepare for potential squalls. Vulnerable vessels are most at risk and should seek safe harbour if underway. Consider delaying or postponing travel in areas under the Squall Watch.
