Issued 3:07 PM EDT 29 April 2025 A line of strong to severe thunderstorms is expected push over Lake Huron and Georgian Bay this afternoon along and ahead of an advancing cold front. These storms may produce wind gusts up to 50 knots, large hail and frequent lightning.Large hail can damage vessels and cause injury. Vessels without lightning protection should make their way to shore immediately. Mariners are advised to prepare for potential squalls. Vulnerable vessels are most at risk and should seek safe harbour if underway.
