Showers beginning this evening with a risk of thunderstorms early this evening changing to flurries after midnight. Visibility 1 mile or less in precipitation.

Issued 7:56 PM EDT 16 March 2026 Conditions are favourable for the development of squalls with wind gusts up to 45 knots, hail and poor to very poor visibility in thunderstorms heavy at times.

When: This evening

Poor to very poor visibility may contribute to voyage delays and make marine navigation hazardous. Mariners are advised to prepare for potential squalls. Vulnerable vessels are most at risk and should seek safe harbour if underway. Delay travel or if underway, reduce speed or return to port if safe to do so.
