Winds gusts up to 40 knots can be expected with a line of thunderstorms as it passes over Lake St. Clair early this evening.

Mariners are advised to prepare for squalls. If underway, seek safe harbour immediately.

The potential for strong to severe thunderstorms will persist through this evening.

Vessels without lightning protection should make their way to shore immediately. Mariners are advised to prepare for potential squalls. Vulnerable vessels are most at risk and should seek safe harbour if underway.
