Issued 5:58 PM EDT 24 July 2021 Conditions are favourable for the development of squalls with wind gusts up to 35 knots.

Scattered thunderstorms are expected to move across portions of western Lake Ontario and eastern Lake Erie later this evening.

Wind gusts of 40 knots may be associated with some of these storms as well as frequent lightning. There will also be the risk for a waterspout.
