Issued 09:37 AM EDT 15 April 2026 Conditions are favourable for the development of squalls with wind gusts in excess of 35 knots and hail.

Thunderstorms will likely affect Lake Erie and Lake St. Clair this afternoon and early evening.

Large hail can damage vessels and cause injury. Mariners are advised to prepare for potential squalls. Vulnerable vessels are most at risk and should seek safe harbour if underway.
