Lake Winnipeg - north basin

Issued 02:30 AM CDT 11 April 2021 Snow and blowing snow will give very poor visibilities Monday and Monday night.

An intense low pressure system will bring heavy snow to the North Basin of Lake Winnipeg on Monday. Snowfall amounts of 10 to 20 cm are expected. As well northeast winds of 50 gusting 70 km/h will give extensive blowing snow.

These winter storm conditions will ease on Tuesday.

Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some locations.
