Marine Weather StatementIssued 9:17 AM NDT 22 June 2021 A trough of low pressure over Northern Quebec will track eastwards
throughout the day to lie over the Labrador Sea tonight. Moderate to
strong southeasterly winds ahead of the trough will increase to gale
force over northern waters today as it approaches the district.
Strong to gale force southwesterly to westerly winds will develop in
the wake of the trough tonight before diminishing on Wednesday.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
North Labrador Coast, Northwest Labrador Sea, and East Labrador Sea.
