Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:20 AM NST 8 December 2025 An intense trough of low pressure will remain nearly stationary overthe Labrador Sea throughout the forecast period. Strong to gale force
easterlies to the north and east of the trough shift to
northwesterlies to southwesterlies to the south and west of it.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
North Labrador Coast, Northwest Labrador Sea, and East Labrador Sea.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Lake Melville, the Labrador coast, and South Labrador Sea.
