over eastern Newfoundland.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:21 PM NST 8 February 2026 A trough of low pressure over the Belle Isle Bank will move southwardto lie over Newfoundland on Monday. Strong to gale force east to
northeasterlies to the north of the trough will persist throughout
the forecast period.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
South Labrador Sea and East Labrador Sea - southern half.
