Issued 4:00 AM NST 17 December 2025 Today Tonight and Thursday At 4:00 a.m. NST today low 943 mb located southeast of Greenland.
By 9:30 a.m. NST today departing low 945 mb located southeast
of Greenland.

At 4:00 a.m. NST today trough located on a line northeast-southwest
over Ontario.
By 4:00 a.m. NST Thursday trough located on a line north-south
over Labrador Sea.

At 4:00 a.m. NST today ridge located on a line north-south over
the Mid Labrador Coast.
By 4:00 a.m. NST Thursday departing ridge located east of the East
Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:55 AM NST 17 December 2025 An intense low pressure system southeast of Greenland will depart to
the east this morning. Strong to gale force northwesterlies over the
East Labrador Sea will diminish this morning as the low departs.

A trough of low pressure currently over Ontario will cross the marine
district tonight and Thursday. Strong to gale force northwesterlies
will develop behind the trough tonight.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Lake Melville.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters.
