Issued 9:30 AM NST 10 December 2019 Today Tonight and Wednesday At 9:30 a.m. NST today ridge located on a line northwest-southeastover Labrador Sea.
By 9:30 p.m. NST tonight departing ridge located east of the East
Labrador Sea.
At 9:30 a.m. NST today trough located over southeastern Labrador.
By 9:30 a.m. NST Wednesday deepening low 971 mb located over the
East Labrador Sea.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:18 AM NST 10 December 2019 A trough of low pressure over Southeastern Labrador will movenorthward today and develop into a low over the Labrador coast this
afternoon. The low will continue to deepen as it moves to lie over
the Labrador Sea this evening then slowly moves eastward on
Wednesday. Strong to gale force east to southeasterlies will develop
ahead of the low and shift to gale to storm force westerly behind it.
Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
South Labrador Coast, Mid Labrador Coast, South Labrador Sea and
Northwest Labrador Sea. Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining
waters.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except South Labrador Sea - northern half,
Northwest Labrador Sea, East Labrador Sea.
