over the South Labrador Sea.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Friday departing trough located north of the
Northwest Labrador Sea.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Friday approaching low 972 mb located over Maine.
Marine Weather StatementIssued 6:36 PM NDT 9 April 2020 A trough of low pressure over the South Labrador Sea will move
northwestwards to lie north of the marine district this evening.
Gale force northeasterly winds to the north of this system will
diminish near midnight as the trough departs.
An intense low pressure system will move over the Gulf of St.
Lawrence Friday night. Strong to gale force easterly winds will
develop over southern waters late Friday in advance of this

South Labrador Coast, North Labrador Coast, Northwest Labrador Sea,
and East Labrador Sea.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
