Wind northwest 25 knots except northwest 35 over southeastern sections. Wind diminishing to northwest 20 this afternoon and to northwest 10 to 15 this evening. Wind becoming light late overnight then increasing to north 15 Tuesday afternoon. Wind increasing to northeast 25 Tuesday evening except north 15 over northern sections.

Flurries ending near midnight. Snow Tuesday late in the day. Visibility 1 mile or less in snow.

Freezing spray warning in effect.

Over open water freezing spray today and early this evening. Freezing spray over southwestern sections Tuesday evening.

Temperatures minus 11 to minus 3 rising to minus 8 to zero Tuesday evening.

Issued 4:00 AM NDT 31 March 2025 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 4:00 a.m. NDT today low 1003 mb located over the southeastern
Northwest Labrador Sea.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Tuesday departing low 1010 mb located southeast
of the East Labrador Sea.

At 4:00 a.m. NDT today ridge located over western Labrador.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Tuesday ridge located from Belle Isle Bank to
the Torngat Mountains.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:46 AM NDT 31 March 2025 An area of low pressure over the Southeastern Northwest Labrador Sea
will slowly track southeastward across the East Labrador Sea today
before departing to the southeast tonight. Strong to gale force
westerly to northwesterly winds can be expected south and west of the
low.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
South Labrador Sea - eastern half, Northwest Labrador Sea, and East
Labrador Sea.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for the Labrador Sea.
