Issued 4:00 PM NST 20 November 2018 Tonight and Wednesday At 4:00 p.m. NST today low 987 mb located north of Labrador Sea.
By 4:00 a.m. NST Wednesday departing low 995 mb located east of
Baffin Island.

At 4:00 p.m. NST today deepening low 1007 mb located near Cape Cod.
By 9:30 p.m. NST Wednesday deepening low 979 mb located over Belle
Isle Bank.

At 4:00 p.m. NST today ridge located on a line east-west over the
South Labrador Coast.
By 4:00 p.m. NST Wednesday ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over the Northwest Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:55 PM NST 20 November 2018 A low pressure system north of the Labrador Sea will continue
northward tonight. Strong to gale force westerlies will gradually
diminish tonight as the low moves away and a ridge of high pressure
builds in from the south.

A second low pressure will approach the marine district from the
south on Wednesday. Gale to storm force north to northeasterlies will
spread across the all waters on Wednesday ahead of the low.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Mid Labrador Coast, South Labrador Sea, and Northwest Labrador Sea.
Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining waters.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except East Labrador Sea.
