Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:55 AM NDT 29 May 2022 A low pressure system approaching from the Gulf of St. Lawrence will
move to lie over Belle Isle Bank by this evening. The low will then
track northwestward to lie over the Mid Labrador Coast by Monday
afternoon. Strong to gale force easterlies will develop over southern
waters today ahead of the low. Winds are expected to diminish on
Monday south of the low.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
South Labrador Coast and South Labrador Sea.
