over the South Labrador Sea.
At 4:00 p.m. NST today quasi-stationary ridge located on a line
east-west over Labrador.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:47 PM NST 3 December 2023 A trough of low pressure located over the East Labrador Sea willslowly drift over the South Labrador Sea by Monday. Strong to gale
force southeasterlies will persist east of the trough while strong to
gale force northwesterlies are expected west of the trough.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
North Labrador Coast and the Labrador Sea.
Marine interests are advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Lake Melville and the Labrador coast.
